Week 15 Review

For this week's review post, I wanted to share something that I found very interesting! On this week's announcements, I came across some sources of intrinsic motivation by Emily Magruder:

Week 14 Review

This video from the current week's announcements really cracked me up! I am actually what some would call a "grammar nazi" haha not really - but it is something that I just have a knack for. I have been told more than once that I should be an English teacher for that reason but I just don't see that as my calling. I do really enjoy proof reading papers though so if you are ever on the hunt for someone to do that, feel free to hit me up!

Week 13 Review

I thought this very a good way to look at stress. With five finals coming up and countless other work I have to do, there is going to be stress no matter what. So rather than get bogged down by stress these next few weeks, let's harness it as motivation.

Week 12 Review

Finals are coming so soon and it is kind of terrifying! Just as equally terrifying if not more so, was Amy Burvall's mash-up of Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl called Black Death. Although this video was quite informative of the historical catastrophe called the Black Death, it mostly just caused me to have nightmares (kidding, kind of).

Here it is:

Week 11 Review

I feel like all I want to start all of my Week in Review posts with an "I'm so stressed because..." Is this just because it's Sunday and I am suddenly thinking about everything coming up in the next few days? I am not sure nonetheless, I never in my life want to take eighteen hours in one semester again. Ever.

Week 10 Review

This weekend I traveled down to Houston to watch the Sooners play in the Final Four basketball tournament. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well but it was still a fun little trip with my family and friends! Here is a picture of me and my friends at the Final Four game in Houston:

What really caught my eye on this week's announcements was the free massages that are being given today from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Graduate Student Life Center. I might just have to try to stop by there.

Week 9 Review

I absolutely LOVED the video Google Search: Reunion! What a beautiful piece. I was saddened by the news about Lahore, Pakistan and this video made me even more sad to see people who actually resided near the same park. It was incredibly touching to see the reunion of these two old friends. I highly recommend this video and intend to look for more that are possibly made by this same author.

Week 8 Review: Spring Break

Spring Break flew by as usual and as usual I am completing this week's assignments on Sunday night... But I am happy to feel rested and somewhat caught up and ready to take on this week! I spent my spring break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Where did you spend yours? I would love to know in the comments below!

This week I really enjoyed checking out the Tale of the Traveling Cat. The picture really caught my eye - I just love this cat with glasses, and what a neat blog!

Week 7 Review: More Midterms...

Unfortunately, my midterms have received nearly all of my attention for the past few days. Thus, I'm sure my Epics of India course feels like the unloved child. Still, it is a source of motivation just as this meme is!

Week 5 Review: It's Midterm Time

This week was very stressful because I had THREE midterm exams... not fun. But I got through it!

I enjoyed the Write Music post that you included in this week's announcements. I also believe that sentence structure is crucial to become an excellent writer.
